We are incredibly grateful and excited to share that our group has been awarded a new two-year research grant from the Matilda Sjölunds Diabetes Fund.

This funding will support our ongoing efforts to understand the role of gut bacteria in shaping the side-effect profile of anti-hyperglycemic drugs. While these medications are essential in managing diabetes, their effects on the gut microbiome and how this may contribute to individual variability in treatment outcomes, remain largely unexplored.

This grant allows us to take an important step into this new and promising area of research. We are deeply thankful for the foundation’s trust and support.

As part of this project, we will be recruiting a new postdoctoral fellow to join our team soon. Stay tuned to this page for updates and details about the position!
